Annika Shah
Co-President

Annika is so excited to lead GEM this year! Since attending the first annual Women’s March in 2017, Annika has been passionate about empowering young girls and building community. She is also a lifeguard, student ambassador and loves to explore new places.
Vivi Ta
Co-President

Vivi is so honored to be able to lead the team and create an exciting, safe space for these young girls. She is also a shift lead, handles ice cream, and team captain of the varsity swim team.
Tina Tahbaz
Vice President

Tina first attended GEMfest in middle school, and now she’s passionate about empowering middle school girls to become future leaders. She is the president of the ISCC club, a peer tutor, and Photo Editor for the Bolt.
SENIORS
Alyssa Cuff

Alyssa is currently a senior at Sage Hill School. Outside of GEM, Alyssa is a part of the Sage Hill School varsity basketball team. She is looking forward to helping empower young girls in her community, along with working alongside likeminded women.
Anisha Hiranandani

Anisha is currently a senior at Sage Hill School. She is so excited to be a part of GEM and hopes to be a role model for middle school girls! She is also part of the Girls Inc of Orange County
Chloe Haddad

Chloe is super excited to be a source of support for middle school girls. Outside of GEM, Chloe is a member of the Sage Hill Dance Ensemble and the Senior Captain of the dance team club. She looks forward to creating a safe and welcoming community for young girls.
Isaac Alegria

Isaac is really excited about being part of the GEMfest team again! He was a volunteer for two years and later joined as a member his Junior and Senior Year. Isaac is Co-Chair of Sage Advocates for Multicultural Education, a leadership group dedicated to making sure every student feels seen, heard, and valued. He looks forward to supporting the group in any way he can!
Katelyn Yeh

Katelyn is currently a senior at Sage Hill. Outside of GEM, she is also Co-Editor in Chief of The Bolt, the school newspaper. She is so excited to be a part of the GEM team again this year and can’t wait to meet everyone.
Mandy Li

Mandy is a current senior at Sage Hill School, and she is so excited to continue her GEMfest journey this year! She loves to sing, dance, and perform on stage. Mandy is also a member of SAME, a leadership group dedicated to multicultural education and ensuring that everyone in her school feels seen, heard, and valued. Mandy is looking forward to bonding with her team and empowering middle school girls!
JUNIORS
Lydia Xu

Lydia is a junior and an active member of DECA and the Business Club. She is super excited for this year and looks forward to helping plan an amazing event. Lydia can’t wait to contribute her energy and ideas to make this year successful.
Katarina Isakov

Kat is currently a junior at Sage. Outside of GEM, Kat is on the Sage Hill Dance Ensemble and is the Art & Design Editor of Struck Magazine. She is so excited to help inspire girls to pursue their dreams and build a welcoming community for them.
Kamilia Motahari

Kamilia was inspired to join GEMfest after seeing its impact on the Sage Hill community and empowering young girls. She is excited to be apart of the influence, creating support systems for girls to let their voice be heard! Outside of GEM, she is involved with national charity league and assistant editor for the school yearbook, the Storm, as well as JV captain for the schools girls volleyball team.
Ellie Yeh

Ellie is a junior, has volunteered for GEMFest in the past, and enjoys being a student ambassador. She is excited to help build this event that inspires and connects middle school girls in our community.
Isabella Huang

Isabella is a junior at Sage Hill School and is excited to create a space where girls can be heard and uplifted. She is a captain of the debate team, Opinion Editor for The Bolt, and loves playing the piano.
Breeze Estrada

Breeze is currently a junior at Sage Hill School. She is a member of Sage Advocates for Multicultural Education (SAME), and has been doing ballet for nine years. She is so excited to help create a safe space for middle school girls to feel empowered and uplifted through GEMfest.
Charlie Lee

Charlie is a junior at Sage Hill School. After volunteering in the past, she hopes that she can continue help empower lots of girls both inside and outside her community. Outside of GEM, she is a Worlds School Captain of the Speech and Debate club at Sage.
Saffiya Sarwono

Saffiya is a junior at Sage Hill. She volunteered for GEM in the past and is so excited to continue empowering young girls. Outside of GEM, she is Senior Editor of Flare Magazine.
