Dr. Amber Burnette

Amber Burnette, M.D.
Assistant Area Medical Director
Chief of Service, Allergy & Immunology Kaiser Permanente Orange County

Dr. Amber Burnette is an Assistant Area Medical Director for Kaiser Permanente Orange County (KPOC), which includes 2 hospitals and 25 medical offices, providing health care for nearly 600,000 KP members. Dr. Burnette joined KPOC in 2011 and is an established leader in multiple areas of the organization and the community, where she serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Medical Association (OCMA). She has been KPOC’s Chief of Service for Allergy and Immunology since 2015 and is currently the executive sponsor for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (EID), previously as EID Physician Leader, 2017- 2020. Dr. Burnette is also an Assistant Professor and Admissions Interviewer at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, on faculty since 2018. She achieves excellent patient satisfaction scores and has been an OCMA Physician of Excellence since 2020. In 2022, she was awarded the Physician Exceptional Contribution Award, the highest honor offered by Southern California Permanente Medical Group.
Dr. Burnette’s presentations and publications focus on topics such as COVID-19 vaccines, asthma and food allergies, and Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity. She has led KPOC’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts since December 2020, with a focus on safe and equitable vaccinations for KP members and the community.
Dr. Burnette completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson and medical degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, and her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
Work-life balance includes quality time with her family (her college sweetheart and two daughters) and friends, reading, attending concerts and live theater, time at the beach, and traveling abroad. Her personal hero is the late, great Dr. Maya Angelou, whose words she lives by: “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Lesley Bohm

​Lesley Bohm is a pro photographer who has over 25 years of shooting celebrities, CEO’s, actors, and entrepreneurs in Los Angeles.

She has spent decades mastering the art of illuminating the beauty and dynamism of powerful people. With her extensive history of shooting all kinds of people for magazines and advertising, she is adept at quickly getting the best out of her subjects. In the last decade she has focused on taking portraits of women because she is an entrepreneur herself and understands what photographs women need to help them stand out in the marketplace.

Her mission is to help leaders make an impact by elevating their brand with the highest quality photos. Lesley loves being a photographer because of the interaction and the exchange of energy and ideas that comes with creating portraits that make an impact. Her stunning portraits stand the test of time.

Sung-Hee Suh

Former U.S. Criminal Division Deputy Assistant Attorney General 

Ms. Suh is a managing director and the general counsel for global regulatory and litigation at PIMCO, the investment management firm.  Prior roles during her 32-year legal career include head of the New York white collar and investigations practice at the law firm of White & Case; Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC; litigation partner at the New York law firm of Schulte Roth & Zabel; and Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.  She has also co-taught seminars on civil rights law at Harvard and New York University, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, as well as the Brennan Center for Justice. Ms. Suh attended public grade schools in New York City and received her bachelor’s, master’s and law degrees from Harvard.  She lives in Newport Beach with her husband and their son, who is a sophomore at Sage.

Tiffany Nyaggah

Entrepreneur 

Tiffany Cheng Nyaggah co-founded and led Dignitas, an award-winning social impact nonprofit focused on improving education quality in Kenya. Over her decade-long tenure, she achieved systems-level impact by scaling an innovative teacher and principal development program and catalyzing $65M in new funding for education in urban slums. More recently, Tiffany was the partner at NewSchools Venture Fund, where she led an $8M grantmaking portfolio focused on advancing racial diversity in education leadership. Tiffany continues to work on initiatives ranging from climate justice to economic empowerment as a consultant helping leaders and organizations translate vision into impact. Born and raised in Oakland, she developed an enduring passion for cross-racial movements, equity, and leadership development in her youth and early-career experiences as a college counselor and public school teacher. After living in various cities across the US and globe, Tiffany is raising two children with her husband back home in the Bay Area. She holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. ​

Led by Sage's Yoga coach Coach Conolly, this workshop will focus on mindfulness and basic yoga. Participants will learn great skills for mindfulness and managing stress.
